Tanker Runs Late Night Transfer Assignment To Perry County Station 3

At 02:55Hrs, Company/Tanker 5 was dispatched to Saville Township, Perry County, 10350 Racoon Valley Road, Perry County Station 3 (Ickesburg Fire) for a Transfer Assignment, while their Engine and Tanker 3 assisted Perry County Station 4 (Landisburg Volunteer Fire Company) on a Mulch Pile Fire at Tuscarora Hardwoods. Tanker 5 responded shortly after dispatch with a crew of 3, FireFighter Alexa Holsinger in the seat. Tanker 5 arrived at Perry County Station 3, and stood by for about 4.5 hours. Once Ickesburg Fire was released from the scene, and cleaned up/in station, Tanker 5 returned back to Juniata County. Tanker 5 was cleared from the call at 07:02Hrs.

At 18:56Hrs, Company/Brush 5 was dispatched to Lack Township, at Barton Hollow Road and Kirk Ridge Road for a Wildfire. Chief 7 (East Waterford Fire) first arrived on the scene and advised JCCC of a wildfire of approximately 4 acres and spreading fast.
